Our Story

Welcome to Mindful Body: Movement with Intention, your go-to destination for Pilates and a variety of exercise classes crafted to promote mindful movement and intentional physical activity.

 

Mindful Body originated 2016 in Melbourne, offering a diverse portfolio of classes to both corporations and individuals, both online and in-person.

 

After five years of teaching in different studios and gyms in Melbourne, Pippa, our main teacher, decided to move permanently to Cygnet where finally Mindful Body will open the doors to a specialized Pilates and movement studio in the heart of Cygnet, Tasmania, established in 2021.

 

Under the guidance of Pippa who brings teaching experience from Colombia having taugth fitness classes Indoor cycling, body pump, strength and mobility and Pilates since  2008 and then in Gold coast and Melbourne from, 2016, we prioritize small, dedicated classes. Pippa's passion for movement led her to earn a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science in her home country of Colombia. Since then, her curiosity and commitment have driven her to complete her diploma in Integrated Pilates and Teaching Methodology in 2020 in Australia, enhancing her skills to better support her students.
